Getting started
Welcome to your organization's knowledge base. This space is yours — fill it with the documents, decisions, and patterns that make your team work.
A few things to know:
- Every document lives as a markdown file under your org's
organizedata directory. You can edit through the web UI here, through a connected Google Drive (once you set that up), or directly on disk. - The directory tree on the left is your organization structure. The default tree maps a generic customer value chain (marketing → sales → operations → service) plus a team area. You can rename and reshape it any time.
- Files are version-controlled. Every save is a commit, and the bedrock keeps the full history.
What to do first
- Open
team/charter.mdand write a one-paragraph charter — who you are, what you do, who you do it for. - Open
customer-value-chain/marketing/target-audiences.mdand list the first two or three audiences you actually serve. Names, not personas. - Connect Google Drive (Set up tile on the dashboard) if you already have
files you want to bring in. New files will appear under
google-drive/.
That's it. The starter content you're reading now will stay around until you edit or delete it — it's just a scaffold to start from, not a constraint.
